YHA Men's and Women's Outdoor Hockey Leagues 2009-2010

YHA Men's and Women's Outdoor Hockey Leagues 2009-2010

The first set of Fixtures have been added to the YHA Website for the above leagues. These fixtures will be amended by Club Fixtures Secretaries once any necessary rearrangements have been agreed between clubs.

Start times and venues have so far been added for: Bingley Bees (M&W), Batley (W) and Old Malton (M)

Please note that Women's Division 6 now contains 14 teams. Teams in this division will only play 22 fixtures meaning that they do not play all opponents twice. This has been done to allow the maximum number of teams to participate in a full league programme.

Matches Awarded in mens Div 8, 9 & 10

YHA Men's Hockey League - Matches Awarded Divisions 8, 9 & 10
The YHA Website has been updated with matches that have been awarded in YHA Men's League Divisions 8, 9, & 10.
If you have rearranged a game that has been awarded but not submitted it for inclusion on the website please let Dave Fulford know. There are also one or two games that have not been played but the League committee has no information as to why. It would be helpful to let the relevant Divisional Secretary know asap.

Sheffield University Bankers Women's 2nd team

Sheffield University Bankers have decided that they do not have enough players for their women's 2nd team and have withdrawn the team from the League. All fixtures have been removed and any results expunged.

Old Johns HC

Old Johns HC have decided that they no longer have enough players to run the club and have withdrawn from the Women's League. All their results have been expunged and fixtures have been removed from Division Two.

City of York Women's 6th team

City of York have decided that they do not have enough players for their women's 6th team and have withdrawn the team from the League. Results have been expunged and all fixtures removed.

Men's League: Leeds Adel Carnegie 8

Leeds Adel Carnegie have decided that they do not have enough players for an 8th team and have therefore withdrawn LA Carnegie 8 from the Men's League. All fixtures have been removed and results expunged.

YHA Women's Hockey League

This is a reminder to all women's clubs that the tables as shown on the website are not a finished reflection of the situation until the Committee meets on 17 April in order to confirm all the results.

A notice of congratulations confirming promotion and relegation as soon as possible thereafter will then be posted.

May I also remind all clubs to confirm their intention to play next season by 15 April 2008 as required by the League Rules by emailing smithbje©aol.com. This is especially important for multi-team clubs with teams in Div 5 and 6a or 6b. Thanks to those clubs who have already emailed.
