Hockey fans have the opportunity to help select the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) 2009 WorldHockey Women's All Star Team

The FIH has asked for the help of all hockey fans to select the 2009 WorldHockey All Star teams, beginning with the women's team. From now until Sunday 15 November 2009 the FIH is asking fans to submit their recommendations of:

one goalkeeper,
two defenders,
two midfielders,
two forwards
and one coach.

As well as giving participants the opportunity to help select the WorldHockey All Star team all entries received will go into the draw to win a spectacular WorldHockey prize. Send your nomintations to allstars@worldhockey.org.

The composition of the 2009 Women’s WorldHockey All Stars will be published on the official FIH website www.worldhockey.org early in December 2009. The voting for the Men’s WorldHockey All Star Team 2009 will start in the next couple of weeks.

Keep an eye on www.worldhockey.org over the next few weeks so you don't miss the start of the Men’s WorldHockey All Star Team 2009 voting.
