Boys Under-12 YYHL Session on Sunday 20 January has been Cancelled

yhalogoblue.jpgBoys Under-12 YYHL Session on Sunday 20 January has been Cancelled
BOYS MAIN & U12 BOYS CONTACTS:
UThe niversity of Leeds University have cancelled the Yorkshire Youth Hockey League Boys Under-12 sessionh on Sunday 20 January due to bad weather Health & Safety issues.
We have decided that in view of the weather forecast for freezing temperatures and snow over the Staurday night into Sunday that CANCELLING both Leeds University and Leeds Adel HC would make sense.
Not sure about the rest of the County but Quensbury in Bradford already has a snow fall.
The roads are unlikely to be treated effectively with rock salt, so longer car journeys will become a little hairy and dangerous,  and the pitch at Leeds Adel HC too hard for safe play by the youngsters.
A chance for a lie in and keeping warm!!!

We will look to rearrange this Sunday's session to after Easter ......  perhaps to Sunday 28th April .....  the U10 Girls are also playing on this date.
Further confirmation after discussing with both UoL & LAHC.
Will use the Order of Play for Sunday's 20 Jan session at the next U12 Boys date on 10th February.

Cheers
Phil Thomas
