RICHMOND HC We am writing this email with deepest regret in that after a long drawn out meeting this evening Richmond Ladies Hockey Club must pull out of Yorkshire Women's Hockey League Division Two. It has been a very tough season from the outset, losing vital players to university and travels etc. And now due to the weather and the fact that our home pitch will be out of use for the foreseeable future, it is very difficult to keep a small, young club interested when there is no meeting ground/playing able to continue. On a positive note, we hope to restart in September 2010, hopefully with a cleaner, more playable surface and a re-energised squad!
