YHA AGM 2014 YORKSHIRE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION President – Nigel Herd W 01904 781568 M 07711 682587 -email- Ladies & Gentlemen NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE 14th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 14th MAY 2014 AT ADEL WAR MEMORIAL SPORTS CLUB, LEEDS STARTING AT 1930 hrs The business of the Meeting will be: To receive the Reports and Accounts for the season 2013/14 To elect the Officers and other Committee members for the season 2014/15 To transact other relevant business of which written notice must have been given to the Hon General Secretary at least 42 days prior to the meeting. None has been received. As per item 8.1.7 of the YHA Constitution the following shall be entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting and have a vote The officer and other voting members of the General Committee Clubs with female and male playing members – two representatives each Clubs with female players only – one representative Clubs with male players only – one representative Clubs which play only mixed hockey – one representative Schools – one female and male representative from each County Association Honorary Life Members No member may cast more than one vote, other than the Clair who shall have the casting vote Associate Members or any other member of a club or school are welcome to attend the AGM, however, they are not entitled to vote Nominations for Officers may be made by any affiliated club and by the General Committee and these nominations shall be submitted in writing to the Hon General Secretary no later than 30 days prior to the AGM As per item 5.1.8 of the Constitution up to eight nominated members to represent Men’s and Women’s hockey would be welcome to come onto the General Committee. Nominations for these positions will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the AGM in writing to the Hon General Secretary.
