rtm.jpgOn behalf of everyone connected with Rotherham Hockey Club, from committee, players and volunteers, we would like to welcome any and all of you all to our celebratory events in commemoration of the grand unveiling of our new pitch here in Rotherham on Saturday 9 September 2017.
The programme of events, over four days are a celebration not only to our new facilities but also to our late President, Eric Duke and to the clubs 90th Anniversary. We have much planned over the four days and we hope you will join us in helping us to celebrate.
The opening of the new pitch marks the start of the clubs ‘HockeyFest’ activities which is an England Hockey initiative about supporting hockey clubs around the country to inspire the local community to play hockey and a great reason to get members and guests together ahead of the forthcoming season.
The opening event will also see dignitaries from other funding partners involved with the new venture including Sheffield Hallam University, England Hockey, Sport England and The National Hockey Foundation.
