Matchday Covid Information

Good evening

As we all prepare for the start of the season (Saturday 10 October) although I know many clubs have already managed to play their first (Step 5) games, here is a reminder of what every club MUST do.

Every club MUST have a Covid Officer & ALL participants MUST have signed the EH Participation Agreement. Attendance registers MUST be submitted to EH track & trace after EVERY training session/game. Failure to do any of the above WILL result in your club not being able to participate until they comply.

Minimum requirement to play is a pitch with toilet facilities.

When confirming a fixture, home teams to send match day protocols for their venue & inform the opposition if spectators are allowed or of any restrictions at the venue.

Travel – please check the Covid club support page on the EH website & work within these and wider Government guidelines. If there are any updates on local restrictions these will be published as soon as possible.

This link is very useful, in particular the FAQ’s.

If any club is struggling please feel free to contact your league rep (league matters). If you are struggling with facilities contact either

any other questions don’t hesitate in contacting me: bad13hockey@outlook.com & I will help where I can.

We are living in difficult times & things seem to change on almost a daily basis. Lots of people (many volunteers) have spent many hours trying to ensure we play hockey again. We want to continue playing but safely & within the guidelines set out.

Stay safe everyone
