The YHA League Rules have been updated to include the original Rule 5.8a about match confirmations
Rule 5.8 now reads:
5.8 MATCH CONFIRMATION & YHA WEBSITE
a – At least 10 days before each match, the Match Confirmation or Fixture Secretary of the Home Club will reconfirm all fixtures with the opposition including confirmation of umpiring arrangements, team colours, start time and venue and giving team contact details if those in the online handbook are not current. It is the duty of the Away Club to notify the Home Club that it has received confirmation of the fixture, should confirmation not be received by the Home Club then they should contact the Away Club and make sure it has received the information.
b – The appointed Club Representative must input details of start times and venues of all scheduled and rearranged home matches 14 days prior to the start of the season. These must be directly input to the YHA Website, in the event of any problems the appointed Club Representative must email the YHA Website Manager and relevant Divisional Representative immediately. The penalty for a breach of this Rule is £50.
c – All fixtures will be kept up to date and details of any subsequent changes to the date, start time and venue of any League fixture must be updated on the YHA Website once the Away Team Fixture Secretary has agreed and confirmed the changes by email. The penalty for the breach of this Rule is £20 by the Home Club.
