Former Airedale HC and Ben Rhydding HC player Matthew Ramshaw is celebrating Christmas with a double achievement, After joining fellow Yorkshire man Lucas Ward (now at Beeston HC, formerly of Sheffield Hallam) in to the Great Britain under-23 squad (at just 17).
Matthew, who now plays for Loughborough Students, will be presented with the 2017 Hockey Writers Club National Youth Award at a lunch held at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, Knightsbridge, London on 24th January.  Previous recipients of the award include all-time top international goal scorer Ashley Jackson and Gold medal hero Maddie Hinch.
